We could easily access this museum as it’s located just across Zurich main station. From outside, the museum looks like an old beautiful castle. Inside, advanced technology ‘colors’ museum’s collections. There are various collections here: the history of Switzerland, photos of the Alps, and modern contemporary arts. Personally, I really enjoyed the collections about the history of Switzerland.

This is a small and simple museum, showing various antique equipment used in science, such as antique microscopes, telescopes, thermometer, barometer, etc. It also houses the equipment used by Horace-Bénédict de Saussure (a Swiss geologist and meteorologist) to explore and map the Alps during the 18th century. Located just a few steps from Lake Geneva, this museum worths to visit if you walk along the Lake’s right bank. The old building has a beautiful interior and view to the lake from the 2nd floor. A downside of this one is that not all pictures/equipment have an English description.
